(1) If the conciliation-related work cannot be completed within the time period specified by the body looking into the case, and if it appears that there is a sufficient possibility of reconciliation between the parties, the conciliator may, with the consent of the parties, apply to the body looking into the case to extend the time period for reconciliation.
(2) While examining the application received according to sub-rule (1), if the request of the conciliator is found to be reasonable, the body reviewing the case may extend the reasonable time without exceeding the time period as per rule 15.
